Warangal (150 km) — History buff's paradise

Drive: 2.5–3 hours on NH163. Best visited October–February. Stay at Warangal's government rest houses or budget hotels.

Nagarjuna Sagar (165 km) — Dam and island

One of the world's largest masonry dams. The island (Nagarjunakonda) has a museum of Buddhist sculptures salvaged before the dam submerged the valley. Boat trip to the island is the highlight. Combined with Krishna Wildlife Sanctuary. Drive: 2.5–3 hours.

Belum Caves (300 km) — Underground marvel

India's second-longest cave system (3.5 km of explored passages). The Sathi Puja cave, Banyan Tree Cave and underground streams are spectacular. Drive: 4.5–5 hours via Kurnool. Combine with Yaganti Temple (50 km from Belum). Early morning departure recommended.

Araku Valley (480 km) — hill station

Technically slightly beyond 300 km but worth the 6–7 hour drive (or overnight Vizag-Araku train). Visakhapatnam's hill station at 900 m altitude. Coffee estates, tribal culture, Borra Caves, and Katiki Waterfalls. Drive from Hyderabad or fly to Vizag and drive 120 km.
