About WIB in one paragraph
WIB (wibest.in) is India's independent comparison platform for everything Indians need to choose between — schools, colleges, hospitals, smartphones, cars, restaurants, weekend trips, credit cards, and more. Built and maintained by a single Indian founder using AI tools, WIB ranks options by data and editorial judgement, never by paid placement. Launched in 2025, it now indexes 605+ restaurants across 28 cities, 463 hospitals across 36 cities (every major state capital), 10 research reports, and 200+ blog comparisons across English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali.

Research reports — free to cite

- Regional Cuisine Renaissance: Tier-3 Dining (2026) — 50 restaurants across the same 5 cities. Headline: regional-anchored restaurants outscore generic multi-cuisine 4.4 vs 4.3 — Saoji, Mylari butter dosa, Mahalaxmi Gujarati thali, and Chacha's litti chokha lead the pack.

Founder story
WIB began with a single Indian founder trying to choose a school for a family member, and again later trying to choose a phone, and a hospital — and finding the same problem each time. Indian comparison content on Google was either: paid SEO content from agencies, ancient forum threads from 2017, or brand pages disguised as reviews.
So they started building. WIB is the answer to "where is the one place I can compare anything honestly, side by side, with real data, for India?" Schools, colleges, hospitals, phones, cars, weekend trips, washing machines, anything you have to choose between — compared transparently, ranked by data, with no paid promotions clouding the results.
It is built by one person with the help of AI tools to scale what would normally take a team of fifteen. That is not a weakness — it is the whole point. AI lets a single Indian builder make something that competes with venture-funded sites, without the venture funding, without the spam, without the conflict of interest.
